What does E-E-A-T Content Analysis check?
Analyzes your content against Google's September 2025 Quality Rater Guidelines using the canonical Who/How/Why test: Who created it? (visible byline, credentials), How was it created? (process disclosure, first-hand evidence), Why does it exist? (to help people, not attract clicks). Then scores each E-E-A-T dimension with specific weights reflecting Google's stated hierarchy: Trustworthiness is most important (30/100), Expertise (25/100), Authoritativeness (25/100), Experience (20/100). Detects thin content, checks author credentials, evaluates source citations, measures readability (Flesch 60-70 target), and AI content patterns per QRG guidance. The score is claudeseo's own weighted model — Google publishes no numeric E-E-A-T weights (only that trust is most important).
Each category produces a pass/warn/fail status with a score out of 100. Issues are prioritized into 4 severity levels: Critical (fix immediately), High (fix within 1 week), Medium (fix within 1 month), and Low (backlog).
Experience (20%)
First-hand signals: original research, case studies, before/after results, personal anecdotes, process documentation, unique data, proprietary insights, photos/videos from direct experience.
Expertise (25%)
Author credentials, certifications, bio, professional background relevant to topic, technical depth appropriate for audience, accurate well-sourced claims.
Authoritativeness (25%)
External citations, backlinks from authoritative sources, brand mentions, industry recognition, published outlets, cited by other experts.
Trustworthiness (30%)
Contact info, physical address, privacy policy, terms of service, customer testimonials, date stamps, transparent corrections, HTTPS. Per Google: trust is the most important E-E-A-T dimension.
Thin Content Detection
Page type minimums: Blog post 1,500 words, Service page 800, Homepage 500, Product page 300+. These are topical coverage floors, not targets — Google confirmed word count is NOT a direct ranking factor.
How are issues categorized?
Each category produces its own score out of 100, with a pass/warn/fail status. The overall score is computed from all categories combined. Issues are grouped by severity for clear prioritization.
| Severity | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Missing | Critical gap |
| Weak | Needs improvement |
| Present | Adequate |
| Strong | Competitive advantage |
